these are challenging times for many

Yesterday we nudged a boat back into the water. It had risen with the floods and not dropped back into the Wey Navigation properly.

However many have not been so lucky with boats stranded way out of the rivers, navigations are closed so they can not get to fresh water or sewer services etc.

This time of year two years ago there was not enough water to navigate the Tring summit, last week the navigation was temporarily halted while excess water was run through the locks to reduce flooding.

This is a picture of where the Wey navigation canal should finish, the pound and coarse of canal has disappeared under water , as has the next lock.
